SILHOuETTES of Kappa Alpha Psi History Officers Purpose Membership Contact Us HISTORY OF SILHOUETTES The National Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. became an official entity in August 1947 during the Los Angeles Conclave of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. In 1980, the Silhouettes were formally recognized as an auxiliary to the Fraternity. Under the leadership of Dr. Oliver Gumbs, Grand Polemarch, the Silhouettes were granted a seat on the Board of Directors of the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, Inc. On September 11, 1980, Policy Statement No. 87-12 was recorded in the official records of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., officially recognizing the Silhouettes as an affiliate. Their purpose is to provide support and assistance for the Fraternity’s activities at the Grand Chapter, Province, and Local levels. SILHOUETTES FRISCO TX Greetings from the Kappa Silhouettes of Frisco, TX! Established on January 23, 2024, we are proud to support the Frisco (TX) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Our charter group, consisting of 51 members, holds the distinction of being the largest Silhouettes chartering group in the Southwestern Province. We invite you to join us in our mission to promote sisterhood, service, and scholarship within our community. MEMBERSHIP Wives of members of the Frisco Alumni Chapter are welcome to join the Silhouette organization, a vibrant community for the wives and widows of financial members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. We embrace sisterhood, empowerment, and the lasting legacy of our loved ones. Together, we engage in fulfilling activities and build bonds that enhance our lives and those of.
